Anurag Agarwal, PhD is a biotech investor with 10 years of experience backing and building life science companies. Before founding Vedana Therapeutics, he led the creation of multiple new companies at Osage University Partners, with portfolio work spanning therapeutics, platform technologies in the areas of oncology, neuroscience, immunology and pulmonology.  Prior to Osage, he advised healthcare and private equity clients at Boston Consulting Group and founded SCIMALS, a scientific and market due diligence firm for life science investors.

Anurag holds a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology and a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University in St. Louis.

Leon Garcia, PhD is a biopharmaceutical leader with more than 30 years of experience in antibody development, from discovery through Phase 2 clinical programs. He led the development of both anti-CGRP and PACAP monoclonal antibodies in migraine and neurology at Alder Biopharmaceuticals, and has guided programs across drug discovery, portfolio management, and early clinical development. Prior to Alder, he held different scientific positions at ICOS, Celtech and Signal Pharmaceuticals. His background includes senior leadership roles focused on advancing innovative therapies and building strong cross-functional partnerships.

Leon holds a BSc in Phytochemistry from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.

Ernesto Aycardi, MD, is a global clinical neurologist and headache specialist as well as a senior clinical development executive with more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry leading programs across Phases I–IV. He previously led headache and migraine clinical development at Teva, including anti‑CGRP antibody programs, and has held senior executive roles as Chief Medical Officer at Xenon Pharmaceuticals and Global Head of Development at Kyowa Kirin, with earlier neurology leadership positions at Biogen, EMD Serono, and Merck. His expertise includes clinical operations, regulatory strategy, and global research oversight across neurology, pain, multiple sclerosis, and vascular disorders.

Dr. Aycardi earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and completed his specialization in Clinical Neurology at the Militar Hospital in Bogotá, Colombia.
